Big "G" Box Top and Campbell's Label Competition Update
The 2008-09 competition was very successful thanks to the students and their families. Mrs. LaBarre's Class won the Big G Box Top Competition and Mrs. Trudo's Class won the Campbell's Label Competition. Each class was treated to an ice cream sundae party at the end of the school year. We received $1748.40 from the Big G Box Top Drive and collected over 35,000 Campbell's Food Labels. Wow! That was a lot of work for all involved but certainly worth it! A BIG thank you goes out to Mrs. Hilda DeCoste for collecting and counting the box tops and labels. Her hard work and the time devoted to our collection contest is truly appreciated. The money from the box tops allowed us to purchase cute Bobby Bobcat Mascots that are given away at our monthly PRIDE Assemblies as well as the elementary pennants for Spirit Day. The Campbell's Soup Label drive allowed us to purchase basketballs, soccer balls, kickballs, kickball bases, jump ropes, bean bags, floor hockey sticks, soccer nets, lacrosse sticks and sidewalk chalk to be used during recess. Thank you to everyone that collected box tops and labels. We appreciate your support and look forward to your continued participation.
