Eighth Grade English

This course is designed to better the student’s communication skills in all areas: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and will also hopefully help the student develop an appreciation for literature in its many forms. This class will also give students the skills necessary to be successful when taking the English Language Arts exam in April.

Accelerated Reader is used every quarter as a test grade in this classroom. Please make sure your son/daughter is doing the outside reading he/she needs to do. The permission slip to use the school computers is needed for this assignment.
