Welcome to the “Home of the Bobcats.” Northern Adirondack High School is a small rural school in the northern foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. Our building houses approximately 300 students in grades 9-12, in a student-centered atmosphere.

We are thankful to opening the school year with all students returning to campus, full time.  We do need your help, New York State has mandated that all students in school buildings and on buses must wear a mask.  Also, if your child is 12 or older please get them vaccinated, it will be safer for them and their friends.

As in the past, breakfast and lunch is free for all of our students.  This year during meals students will have to maintain six feet of distance.

Parking for students: parking is a senior privilege, we have a limited number of parking spaces and seniors that wish to drive to school must submit the application to the high school principal at the start of the school year.  Applications are available in the high school office.

This year, as with last year, if a student tests positive for covid we are required to complete contact tracing protocol to make sure everyone they have been in contact with is aware of their exposure risk and that they may have to quarantine.  For this reason we are not issuing bus passes this year.

There will be late buses for students that have practice or are participating in a club activity, only those students may stay after school or get on a late bus.

There is not a mask mandate for outdoor sporting events, masks are required to attend any indoor school or sporting events.
