Residents at senior housing complexes in Altona, Churubusco, and Ellenburg as well as those at Meadowbrook Healthcare, CVPH's Skilled Nursing Floor, Clinton County Nursing Home, and St. Vilas Assisted Living will each receive a card or picture. We hope these brighten their day!

NAC students in K-Kids, Key Club and Builders Club are conducting a Coin Collection next week for Courageous Cali, a 2 year old from the Dannemora area who was bitten by a tick, which caused encephalitis and many health complications. Coin collection boxes are available in both buildings through February 17. Please give generously by sending in your coins with an NAC student! For more information on Courageous Cali: https://suncommunitynews.com/news/100834/community-rallies-around-courageous-cali/ or you can search "Courageous Cali" on Facebook. Thank you for your support as we reach out to a family in need from a neighboring community, and thank you for supporting our service clubs in their first community project!

Families who have scheduled parent-teacher conferences for Thursday, January 19: we are aware of glitches in the online scheduling system which may mistakenly show your appointment in an alternate time zone. Please check that your confirmed appointment time is in Eastern Standard Time (EST). If you are unsure of your time, please email your child’s teacher to confirm. A reminder that students will be dismissed at 11:30am. We look forward to seeing you and discussing your child’s progress. https://www.nacs1.org/o/naes/page/conference

On Tuesday, January 3, 2023 elementary students will go back to eating lunch in the cafeteria. We continue to be a peanut and tree nut free district so when sending in lunches from home please keep this in mind. At this time, they will continue to eat breakfast in their classrooms. Again this year, there has been no charge for breakfast and lunch due to the Universal Free Breakfast & Lunch Program. Students will now be able to purchase extras and ice cream when offered. You may add money to your child’s lunch account by sending cash or a check to school in a sealed envelope labeled with your child’s name and lunch number. All checks should be made out to NAC Cafeteria with your child’s name and lunch number in the memo section. Meal prices are listed below: Extra Milk .50 Extra Vegetable .50 Extra Entrée 1.25/lunch Ice Cream .50
