On Monday and Tuesday of this week these FFA students arrived at the State Capitol to learn about the legislative practices. They met with several assembly members, senators and were greeted by Governor Kathy Hochul. Plus they toured the beautiful capitol building.

Good afternoon Bobcat MS/HS families: This is a reminder that if you were unable to make it to parent teacher conferences, report cards have been sent home. If your child is failing two or more subjects on either a progress report or report card they are on pass and activity restrictions. Any student on Activity restrictions is not allowed at after school activities such as dances and athletic contests. Please do not send or allow your child to attempt to attend these events while they are on activity restrictions. You can always check school tool at any time for progress report and report card grades.

Builders Club, Key Club, and National Honor Society are teaming up to raise money for Animal Rescue and Welfare Services in Plattsburgh through Double Good Popcorn fundraisers. NHS' total proceeds will be donated to ARWS and certain percentages from BC and KC will also be donated (other funds raised will be used for various service projects). Congratulations to the NAC Wrestling team for being the team to represent Section 7 wrestling at the NYSPHSAA Dual meet championships in Syracuse this coming Saturday. The Bobcats go into this championship with an undefeated record in Section 7 and the CVAC. The Championship event will be held at the Onondaga Community College -SRC Arena. NAC Key Club recently volunteered at the Make A Wish table in the mall and collected donations at the Middle/High School. Thank you for your contributions and support of Make A Wish Northeast NY, which grants wishes to children with life threatening illnesses in the 518 area code.

Please help contribute to our school-wide food drive! Students and their families are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to school, including on Dec. 18 to the MS/HS Winter Concert and Art Show. Thank you for continuing to support our community service activities!

Good Evening NAC Sports families: This is a reminder that practices for all JV and Varsity Winter sports (Students 9-12) and Modified Wrestling will start Monday November 13th. Please check the website sections710.org to see the daily practice schedules. This can also be found on the activity scheduler app on your phone where you check for game schedules. All other modified practices will start on Monday, November 20th. Coaches will be giving your child instructions on how to sign up for our new app to communicate with the coaches called ROOMS. Many of you may already have signed up for this app for your childs classes. If you have not signed up for this app yet, please take the time to do so as this will be the only way coaches will be able to communicate with athletes and families. Have a great night. GO BOBCATS!
