During October 10-14, NAC Elementary observed Fire Prevention Week. Volunteers from fire departments in our school district spent a day with our primary grades explaining their equipment and teaching good fire safety habits. A huge thanks to the men and women who volunteered their time and expertise to teach our youngest Bobcats!

Good evening Northern Adirondack families. This message has been sent to remind you that the district will have an early release on Friday, October 21 for Professional Development purposes. The dismissal time for the elementary will be 11:30 am and the Middle/High School will be at 11:40 am.

Good afternoon NAC families and staff, we apologize for the late notice but we have had to make a last minute decision to merge bus 78 and bus 2 runs again tonight. Your students will be on bus 78 and expect a little bit of a delay in drop off of your students. Again if you can pick up your students it would be helpful and appreciated. We apologize again for the inconvenience.

Good morning NAC families and staff. This afternoon we will be merging bus 78 and bus 2 runs. Your students will be riding bus 2, expect them a little later than normal because of the extra stops. If you're able to pick your students up please feel free to do so as it will shorten the ride for your student and the others on the bus. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your ability to work with us, in these tough times.

A robocall was sent out this morning saying Bus #2 would be delayed, while that is still the case we were able to get them onto another bus (78) run at regular dismissal. Your students will still be delayed, so expect them a little later than normal. However we still suggest that with the number of kids that will be on this bus, if you can pick your students up it would be helpful and greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Good morning NAC families and staff, Sorry for the late notice we unfortunately have to run Bus #2 on a 2nd trip this afternoon. They will go out as soon as first available bus is back to take them. If you can pick your students up it would be appreciated, if not expect a 30-45 minute delay in delivery of your student. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Attention parents of Student Athletes: It is important that you have joined the REMIND app that was provided by your child's coach. If you do not know how to join, please ask your child or the coach. Once you are part of that coaches group you will get messages from the coach at the exact time they have information available. It is the only way for coaches to communicate with you and their athletes and push important information out. In cases like today, when an emergency arises, you will receive information about practices and games as soon as the coaches know. This will eliminate the need for parents to call the office for updates and will also eliminate any misinformation that may be happening through the grapevine. Again, if you have not joined the REMIND of your child's coach please try to do that as soon as possible.

Good morning again Middle School and High School families. We are aware that there are some students who do not ride a bus in the afternoon regularly. We are going to make sure that all of those students who cannot be picked up for today's early MS/HS dismissal will be assigned a bus for today.

Look at these amazing gardeners! NAC Elementary students took home baby squash plants in June and grew them all summer! Well done, families, for planting, cultivating, harvesting, and in some cases... eating! We love to see smiling faces show off their experiential learning at home.
