This morning, NAC students in grades Pre-K through 6th were treated to a production of Seagle Festival's "Dragon’s Breath," an opera for children and adults. "Dragon's Breath," written by Evan Mack & Joshua McGuire featured PianistTony Kostecki and Performers Hannah Reich, Collin LaHood, Emily O’Connor, and Nicholas Fahrenkrug and introduced students to storytelling through opera. The audience journeyed with the characters as they explored embracing their emotions and calming extreme emotions when overwhelmed. Ask your students about the dragon and the butterfly and how they use calm breathing.
Seagle Festival is the premier opera and musical theater producing organization in the Adirondack region, as well as the oldest summer vocal training program in the United States. https://seaglefestival.org/
