Good evening NAC Families! We will be making food and academic material deliveries tomorrow, Wednesday, January 6th, and it is absolutely necessary for those receiving food or packets to place a plastic bin, box, or cooler out near the road. If there is no designated container to receive items in, the academic materials and/or food may not be left, requiring you to pick it up at school. Remember that your children will still be held accountable for this educational work.

I would like to wish the entire NAC family a Happy Holiday Season! This school year has been challenging and your support for our staff has been tremendous. Please enjoy your families over the winter holiday break while remaining cautious and considerate. This is a trying time for all of us, but hopefully with our efforts now we will be able to get back to normal and begin celebrating holidays and living life like we did before March sooner than later. As a reminder, our students will start remote learning on January 4th and return to in-person / hybrid learning on January 19th. Thank you again for your support, Happy Holidays.

MS/HS Deadline for Quarter 3: The deadline to change from remote or in-person instruction for the 3rd quarter is Friday, January 8. Please contact the Guidance Office at (518) 594-3962 to make a change. The 3rd quarter will start on Monday, January 25.

NAC Elementary students are participating in the annual international Hour of Code this week! Students in grades 1-4 learn to build algorithms and code short programs, as an introduction to computer science. Good afternoon NAC Community! At 4pm this afternoon a letter will be available in the NEWS section of our website. It is important information about our plan to "Pause" from in-person learning after the Christmas and New Year's break. Our CVES and CV-Tech students will still attend their classes in-person and we will be providing the same transportation as we are now.

Northern Adirondack CSD will reopen for in-person instruction on Monday, December 14th. Please remember to check your child for a fever at home and remember the 24 hour rule, while also not sending your child to school if they are experiencing any symptoms that could be related to COVID-19.

In an effort to be proactive and ahead of things as our County is experiencing an increase in positive COVID-19 cases, which could result in short term or long term breaks from in-person learning, we are asking you to let us know if you plan to receive meals. Hey Bobcats, what a beautiful day it was Saturday to recognize our senior fall athletes. Thanks to all the parents, families, coaches, players and our superintendent for taking the time and making the plan to let our student athletes know that despite the safety measures we are employing keep our school running and our kids safe we recognize the effort all of these athletes put into our soccer program for the four years they have been playing for NAC.
